Does the twist kinda look like this!

Happened when I attempted my first backwards roll and the tail pitch slider screw came out!

I got a helicopter for my girlfriend,
It was a good trade!

Hey bud,

Read the posts above for the issue with twist with the CF boom.

And read the end of this post (link) for the fix to the screw comming out on my pitch slider. This is the only incident of this happening...

one thing for sure is i will have a trex700n. if i dont get a vbar i will put on my canopy "i'm a puss"

We'll have to put that next to the grips on my vibe and get a photo. That should leave little doubt

I'll take credit for #96 have had it for almost a month though, finally got everything tuned right. 90s are a lot more difficult to get right than a 50. this is my first 90 machine and the power is unbelivable!!!

epl's number 96 so youre 97

98's mine
the problems so far in build
rod ends don't screw onto the rods straight
the pitch and aileron bell crank to swash rods are too short and the wrong length in the manual
the main shaft bearing holder's don't line up correctly in the frame, so the mainshaft is very tight to go through the bottom bearing (frames not bolted together)
1 odd size ball end with no rod end to fit (a good old thunder tiger rod end cured this)
the elevator servo holder is too deep so the rods are out of line
the upper mixing arm to swash rod length is wrong in the manual
the carbon cover for the rudder rod don't fit the id is too small

duck head
my raptor 90 went together straight out the box with no problems the link length's in the manual were spot on and was set up and flying with no adjustments needed
the used freya i had set up perfectly with no problems

so 90's don't need extra work than a 50 to fly out of the box
it's just the align quality control is poor
but my 600n built with no problems and no adjustments from the first take off
i just hope the 700 flies better than it builds as it's the worst heli i have built for fit and quality

????

I don't know I have had 1 problem with mine and that was the CF tail boom. Other than that Its been flawless. I have flown the crap out of it and the build was so nice and easy and great. Everything on mine went together as it should and everything was lined up as it should. Perfect build here. Of course mine was out of the very 1st batch to hit the U.S but who knows. Still I love the 700 and it is one great quality Machine. Every one keeps comparing it to the 600 with all its problems. And its not at all. It is much much better. And flying it is great as well. Its so light and very responsive and tracks like its on rails. Any ways I don't know if you guys really are having these problems or just trying to bash it. Who knows. None the less Mine was perfect from day one and only a hand full of guys are having troubles. The biggest one is the ball links. Which there are all new ones coming out very soon

i'm not out to bash it
if i was i wouldn't have spent my money on the kit

as i said the 600 built from the box with no problems and i'm pleased with it

the 700 is from the 2nd or 3rd uk batch
i do understand the 1st uk batch was also ok
and yes i know they do have new links coming out
but the 1st batch didn't have the problem, so what happened there?

but at the moment i have to disagree that the 700 is better than the 600 as mine isn't
i realy do hope that once the 700 is finished (only the rx battery to fit after it's charged) it fly's as well as everyone say' it does

but the thing i will bash is the rain that we've got as i want to test fly it tomorrow

LOL

I hear ya. I am suppose to go to a ff and its going to rain all day Any ways you will love it when you get it in the air. It flies flawlessly. I love mine and the rest of my helis just sit now. My 600NSP was my pride and joy and got all the attention and now it just sits collecting dust while I fly my 700 all the time. You will love it and will have no regrets about it at all
