I just got a great deal on a Trex 450 from a fellow RR member who lives near me.

I'm now in the market for a charger setup. The setup will be used for the Extreme Series Thunder Power 2070 mah 4S 25C Batteries. What's a good reccomendation? I've been hearing good things about the TP 610c..

thanks,
J

A small charger like an 0403i with built-in balancer might be ok. Should be about $70. For a bit more there are 6 cell chargers with higher power outputs and also a DUO that can charge two packs at the same time, while balancing.

For a charger such as a TP610c..what's as good amp output from a power source? I see different values from 1.8A all the way to 25A.

In regards to your charger question, there are many choices out there and it really depends on if you are going to be using anything bigger than that 4S pack in the near future and what other batteries you want to charge on it.

My preference is the Bantam series of chargers such as the BC-6 (integrated A/C power supply) or the BC6-10 which doesn't have the integrated power supply, but has a charge output of 200watts.

About your power supply question, I would buy the biggest one you can get that will accommodate your future needs instead of having to purchase another one later..
