| Airship1: Was your RX hard mounted? If your receiver was packed in impact foam would the PWB vibrate like your showing?

The mounting method I used for the AR7100R, is the same I use on my Raptor 90 JR-921 Spectrum receiver, the GV-1 Governor, and the gyro. Two pieces of double stack black servo tape to stick it to the frame with a 'snug' fuel line covered zip tip holding it against the tape 'just in case'.
Perhaps its not based in reality, but something I have always been concerned about with mounting everything in foam is the perceived higher possibility of electronics ejection during an unscheduled landing, with the "high fear factor" post landing chicken dance
Here are some pictures of my post operative sensor upgrade. I used Scotchweld 2216 translucent epoxy because I have a couple gallons of it from an aerospace buddy. Also, its clear, and has known good electrical characteristics, but I guess most epoxies will work. Also, I used a piece of clear heat shrink over it to squeeze in all the gaps.

Bench testing last night showed it worked, we shall know soon :-)
