| I have used the High Temp Silicone (copper colored stuff) for many years on the muffler bolts and a thin smear between engine and muffler/pipe.
No problems so far.
I have heard some people say that if any silicone gets on glow plug coil, the plug will go bad, but I don't know for sure if anything to this or not. |
