Hey guys, bad news...The raven destroyed itsself today...went to put the 3rd flight on it, and one of the main power wires broke from its solder joint...Right before lift off, most of the servos glitched to a bad position. Full left tail rotor, and forward/right cyclic, just spun in boucy circles killing the tail, till it eventually got bad enough to hit the blades, and tipped over, and ruined most of the rest of it..Parts will be ordered monday, and she'll be back by next weekend (hopefully)

These frigging heli's are literally 1000 parts flying in formation

Man that sucks sorry to hear it Eeeky. I would rather have you dumb thumb it than have a component failure.

I've seen so many lose their heli this way and I feel for them every time

Oh well it's all part of the game hope you have better luck next time

i use a custom jumper system to eliminate a switch, so theres no way a power failure can happen..(ironic...i know), but after a few years of flexing this wire, the wire broke away from the soldered portion. Check out Scary Garys gallery, which has a diagram.

seen the diagram, looks pretty neat... i dont use a switch like that one shows, try to eliminate as many interferences as possible... just one less thing to worry about failing, even though there are a hundred plus other things, lol... hope you get all your parts in soon and can get her back in the air...

I guess you've been too busy bashing Century helis to look at the pictures in the first post. It's an all metal head.
