I crashed my T-rex I hjad to replaced the main shaft but I want to know if the tail boom looks like it is on a slight slant lower at the tail end is this right.

No it should stick straight out (at least on a 450 -- I can't say for sure on a 500, but would assume it is the same). I would remove the boom and look at it. Odds are its bent. I flew for a few weeks with a tail shaft slightly bent like that without knowing it because it was bent right where it came out of the block. I was having problems with the tail holding while it was bent, though didn't realize that was the cause at first. I actually removed the tail shaft to change the belt which was a bit frayed, maybe from rubbing against the bent tail boom. That's when I noticed it was bent.
