I asked this on the Lepton page but they must all be 3D fans.... Anybody know of an interesting scale body that will go onto a lepton EX?

Is Lepton around TRex500 size?
If yes, I think right now (commercially), the only fuselage is from HeliArtist and Align (not sure out already or not) and it is only Airwolf.

If u do not like Airwolf, then either u DIY one or wait a little longer for more company to come out one/some.

have you looked at the funky 30 size bodies?
i'm sure with your skill of building a great scale machine you can make it fit
the other to look at is one of sean's scout bodies for the pegasus

If the lepton is TRex500 size, I maybe wrong but I think 30 size fuselage is too big for it. Maybe u extend the size of Lepton, it might work.

it is about the size of the trex500 but the pegasus is around a similar size which has been fitted into the 30 size bodies
and dennis has the ablity to alter it to fit

Scale Body for Lepton

I have a HDX500 SE that is a copy of the Lepton and think therefore the same size! You can get a stretch kit for the Lepton, but I just bought a .30 size Century 500E and cut about 3 inches off the tail and I'm putting together a platform to mount the mechanics to make it fit! I posted this here a few weeks/months back and this is what I decided to do! I'll try to post some pictures! Good Luck!

Thanks guys, that gives me some ideas. Dr Tim, I like the look of the Approach Cobra, I'm going to measure up today to see the width. Payne1967 credits me with more ability than I actually have

The Scout body is a good idea too- I should be at Sean's in the next week or so. I wonder if he has the Approach Cobra????? Mmmmmmm....
OU812, would like to see how that works out, although I have a couple of hughes 500's so am looking for a change. Thanks all

This is lepton size, not sure about the geometry. More pics in my gallery, including the mechanics and frame layout.

Sits up high on a interior frame, which could be modified.

It is a Robbe kit. Might work. What is the lepton's boom diameter?

There is a glass Airwolf fuse coming out for the Trex500/Lepton/HDX500 from www.heliartist.com
Has retracts and all weapons. Heliartist fuses seem to be pretty good quality.

If you bling it, they will come :D

True as long as they use their spellchecker fo any lettering they apply. Their USCG StingRay comes with "U S Coast GVard" on both sides.

Hopefully they got the AirWoof right since there seems to be no factory applied lettering.
