So I finished up my new Trex and finally decided to put the paddles on to setup the heli. To my surprise the holes drilled into the paddles for the flybar rod were off centered. When you screw on the paddles they go in at an angle and not parallel with the rod. Has anyone else had this problem? I can't beleive this I was hoping to have this heli flying for the july 4th weekend and now I have to wait for the parts to come in. I'm pissed.

I have not seen this problem on my 500 and I've used two different sets of paddles. However, I have seen this on my 450, just flew it anyway, no problems in flight.

hmm..yeah i was thinking I should give it a shot just for the hell of it. Maybe it will straighten out enough in flight that I wont notice any issues. Thanks for the reply.

i just got my kit 2 days ago....i have that problem with the paddles too!!!and my main grips are notchy!! i know i assembled it correct too

Most blade grips are notchy , inflight when they throw out they will be fine.
my blade grips are perfectly smooth..just the paddles I'm having an issue with. Did you fly yours yet? Curious to see how it worked out. I'm hoping to fly this weekend so I will respond back with any issues I had with my "crooked paddles".. Good old Align

nah, didnt fly it yet. im gonna spool it up with out the blades and see if the paddles track out ok first
