Hello everyone,

I was wondering if someone knew how the feature 'EXP' on the swash mix setup page functioned for a Spektrum DX7. The manual is a wee bit lacking in its explaination.

Thanks!
Mat

Short answer turn it on was the concensus it smooths out the movements of the 3 cyclic servos as apposed to one servo doing all the movement when you move the sticks on cyclics. I turned expo on in my throttle and pitch curves too and everywhere it was available in the DX7 it makes the curves smoother more like a U shape instead of a V shape. You may have to redo your pitch mechanical setup after turning it on in the "swash mix" though.

The expo on the swash menu is there to compensate for the angular movement of the servo arm. With it on, the swashplate will exhibit a more constant speed with collective changes.

The expo on the throttle and pitch curves does what was previously posted, it 'smooths' out the inflection points.
