Guys I just can't get the swash level om my nitro sport, it's tilted forward a bit. I adjusted the links but still it's not level I've ordered a swash tool but would like to fly tomorrow so I'd appreciate if u guys could tell me how to get it level without the tool.

If the problem arrises at center stick (pitch 0) then you need to adjust the linkages and make sure everything is level and at 90 deg.

If you own a dial indicator, you can use that as its even better than a swash leveling tool.

Top and bottom deviances should be corrected through the radio (depending on your radio, atvs or swash menu)

Tony I'm using a JR DX9 and a Quick UK swash. I've set up the linkages keeping in view ur excellent post/review of this swash. With my previous setup using hitec 6975's the swash was perfect but now after changing the setup I'm having this issue. I've gone over the linkages and everything seems to be level and at 90 deg. I guess I'll recheck again today!

the upper links will have to be longer on the quickUk swash because now the geometry was altered. It shouldn't affect the bottom on only two points. The QuickUk swash sits just a tad lower than the stock but obviously it still should be level

I rechecked the links and in the end had to give 3 clicks of the elevator to get the swash level.Another thing I'm using a 2500 mah lipo which is under the receiver mount and the receiver is on top of the mount. The duralite regulator is on the nose of the mount and gyro and GV1 r in the sides of the mount. I find the heli to be nose heavy and just can't get it to hover without holding elevator. Is the only solution to get a lighter battery?

Chasing your CG can sometimes be cumbersome. A lighter battery would be one way to make changes but you also can either insert a dummy servo in the extra slot provided on the rear and or relocate your tail servo on your boom to shift the weight. I've also heard some people even go as far as adding extra bearings on the tail shaft. Either way, there are always alternatives but as you can see... it's always better when you rearrange what you already have rather than adding additional components so your not adding any excess weight.

Zman9545 if I move the battery to the top where I have the receiver and move the receiver under the tray where I have the battery, then I could move the battery a bit further back. Do u think that'll help and would the receiver be ok? Also I have the rear servo mounts of my titans lying around, any idea if they would fit?

The closer the battery is to the main shaft the better off you will be in your case.. so yes, that will help. Whether your RX will be ok, I'm not so sure. I wouldn't recommend mounting your RX upside down for the simple fact of the high possibility of your leads working loose and coming off from the vibrations. You could always wrap your entire electrical components with thin foam and secure with velcro straps. Century provides one that I use that works really well. But again, if your already struggling with your bird being front heavy... this idea will only make it worse.

I'm not familiar with the mini titan.. however, its in a different class in itself so I'm almost certain it wont fit but I could be wrong.

Your in the right track. I personally think, you will get the best results with the tailboom mounted servo approach because sliding that servo farther from the shaft will make a huge difference. This mod will require an extension on your leads and different pushrods that you could pickup at your local HS. Several are available that fixed wing pilots also uses. I recommend using the setup that comes together at an adjustment point so you can make it longer or shorter by simply twisting it. In a nutshell, you'll just have to make the call whether all this is worth it or not. It might be easier just to get a lighter battery.

Good luck
