| PaintingHi,
If painting the canopy, give it a rub with some 400 grit wet and dry sandpaper, then prime it with spray plastic primer, then cover with colour of choice....i haven't done it, but know someone who has, he has had a few problems with paint cracking because of the ammount of flex in the canopy- just get some pin stripes from your local car accesory shop and be creative!!
Wouldn't really recommend adding stripes to your blades unless you can balance them, it is generally used more in collective pitch models for adjusting the tracking (usually one blade is slightly out of balance and so the tape is applied to this one to correct, so tape will nearly always be there ready for tracking!)
Either that or make sure you use the same ammount of tape in same place on same blades, keeping the balance.
Tracking can be adjusted on main blades for Feda/ hummingbird models...but i've yet to find someone who's needed too, or bothers...LOL!
Hope this helps
