| Long storry short - I bought a BLADE 400 3D from Germany for 450Euros (711 $) a very expensive price in my opinion. Then the surprizes started to happen: 1. The transmitter was Mode 1 instead of Mode 2. 2. Some channels were mixed somehow because both left and right stick affected the throtle. 3. To avoid eventual surprises I put the heli on a stand and kept testing it. After 4 minutes of trying just the two sticks the Blade started full throthle by itself and literarly thrashed my room just through the ventilation. I managed to get under it and disconnect the battery. 4. Send it back to Germany for repairs.
They gave me back a Mode 2 transmitter - that's good and the assurance that now is working perfectly. But surprise, the transmiter did not exist for the heli. Absolute no servo movement. I re-binded the transmitter and the things started to move (rudder, pitch, elevator) but no engine. Then my stupidity determined the next problem. After three minutes when I checked the trims and the sticks (idle-up switch EXCLUDED) the heli started bu itself. This time with not enough power to fly but being free (no training stand) it spined in circles in my kitchen. Miraculosly only the tail blades were damaged from the contact with the furniture. Very odd I managed to kill the throthle using the righ stick.
I called the Horrizon Hobby support to ask what happened. They didn't believe me.
I send the heli back for repairs. Any ideas what happened ? |
