| If you think about it the reasons are numerous. The first is the R.P.M.s involved, the car driving by is cruising at probably between 2000-4000 RPMs and the heli is turning 12,000-14,000 RPMs.Turn a 2000cc Honda engine 14,000 and compare,it will make you want to run from it. Also the car engine is rubber mounted in the chassis,and has a harmonic balancer. Multi-cylinder engines will always run smoother,for many reasons, the power pulses are evenly spaced out,instead of one major pulse per revolution.I'm sure others can elaborate more. Danny
