| I've seen this mentioned off hand in a few threads before, and so I did it to mine when rebuilding it recently. Everyone should do this to their helis.
Simple mod, to make the engine easy to get out, cut off the top cross part on the front A frame. This allows you to get the engine out in about 10 minutes as opposed to an hours worth of disassembly. It doesn't make a difference to the strength of the heli, but makes a huge difference in maintenance, I'm amazed at how easy it was to pull the engine out with this simple mod. Undo 12 screws and the whole base plate with engine and landing gear just drops out, it makes a big difference in maintaining the heli.
