I have 2 air thunder 3S 2200mah 25C batts that are little less than a year old and, due to several months of not flying, have about 20 flights each. One has started to slightly puff at the end of a flight but becomes hard again after it cools. Other than that it seems pretty normal except it never really did any puffing before. The other one puffed up quite a bit today and there was noticeable loss in power about 4-5 minutes into a 6 minute flight. It was also quite hot. The last time I flew it I also experienced this. I also fly an Align 3S 2100mah 20C batt that came with my T-Rex SE V1.5 and this has been fine (no puffing) and has a few more flights on it than the Air thunders. I run the stock motor and ESC and smaller pinion that came with the kit, and am still learning so I do little more than hovering and some circuits, maybe a few piros. I never have to put back more than 1500mahs with my TP-610C and balance every time. My flying should be super easy on the batteries and I'm really disappointed that the batteries that I bought that were supposed to not puff even if abused are puffing after light use and not many cycles. Anyone have any ideas? My align 20C that sees the the same use is just as good as new and people are always saying they aren't any good. Anyone had experience wit AT's warranty? Thanks guys

It sounds like you may want to contact them before your year is up to see what they will do to help you.
I went to their site and wrote them about the situation. Hopefully they will get back with me. I really did like the performance I got from them until the puffing.
