| I finally took out the pantera with the .50 hyper after obsessing over the new electric conversion. Love the nitro! really, they both are great. Nitro has a shortage, it's finally hit here even. Electric is EXPENSIVE initially for a good setup, (batteries, decent charger, etc) and then you have the issue of storage and management. I really like having an engine just sit there, ready to go. Just add fuel and fire it up. Batteries sitting more than a week start stressing me out that they need to be conditioned. Especially when you have hundreds invested in a single pack. I just read threads about people losing a grand in lipos due to having them sit for a couple of months. Ouch!
Bottom line, they both have advantages/disadvantages.
After being so eager for the BBC, I'm being patient till I really have the twins all sorted, then we'll see what that .70 is all about!
ah, too much fun!

p.s. - I mean electric is expensive by $900 batteries, two sets......VS.........$200 OS.50H $200 charger.......................................$25 fuel $300-$400 for ESC+Motor................$75 starter equip $1500....................................................$300
obviously many variables, batteries last longer than a gal, etc.
