| i too have a wife, 2 kids and a life,
and a mortgage and payments to boot.
then an add i did see, of a heli, rc,
and i thought to myself, what a hoot.
that was two years ago, my fleet it does grow,
you can never have to many of these.
i build and i fly, and i crash, and i cry,
now my wife says, "listen honey, please."
"we can no longer afford, by my own accord,
this hobby of which your addicted.
each time that you crash, you spend all our cash,
repairing the damage inflicted."
"to me it seems dumb, to fly with your thumb,
were man meant to fly he'd have wings.
i say it must end. you can no longer spend,
hard earned money on these rediculious things."
then i took my dear wife, the love of my life,
to our closet, brimming with shoes.
i said, "there's more there, than you could possibly wear
in a lifetime, or even two."
"and don't make me mention, that lovely invention,
anti-ageing cream.
to me, you're a ten, but again and again,
hard earned money is spent on that scheme."
so now she understands, that sometimes a man,
never quite outgrows his toys.
and i guess i can see, that those shoes on a tree,
can somehow bring her joy.
we each have our vises, but what's also nice is,
we can learn to live with them all.
tho she's triing on shoes, the fun that i choose,
is rc heli's, and i'm havin a ball!!
i don't have problems, i create them! |
