e-E-Flite Blade CP mCX CX 400-3D > Blade CX After crash repair she won't hover solid - Toilet Bowl Hover

Everything looks OK as far as I can see, but she will not hold a steady hover like she did before.

I had to replace the inner shaft, and the blades. Everything else looks OK.

Sorta looks like what I have heard described as a toilet bowl hover - kinda moves around in a very small circle.

What causes this?

I got a helicopter for my girlfriend,
It was a good trade!

the cause of a towlet bowl affect is a bend flybar or it could be out of balance i would change it and make sure to measure the exact distance of each paddle also make sure both paddles are squared up to the flybar cage..... Easy fix but i can tell you flying like that sucks

Check for bent shafts i.e main and feathering also make sure the blades are balanced and if they where crashed i would toss them. There are alot of things you can easily over look on theses things and they all have to be perfect of you will never have a stable heli...

My Two cents

Mine neither. Lol. Anyways, you're flybar is going to be the biggest cause of tbe. Check you're weights and see if there's a big chunk of them missing or if they're seated properly against the "j" hook at the end of the bar. Also, wouldn't be a bad time to remove the flybar and check for balance. (if not adjust accordingly) Last but certianly not least check the linkage that connects it to the upper rotor. If that's sticky at all or the flybar can't "sesaw" freely on top you're gonna have tbe. Oh yeah, have you checked your tracking and adjusted said linkage since the crash?

lol anyway forget about the flybar cage and the feathering shaft.
Still trash the blades if there crashed and check your flybar.
