Today we will be testing the new 50 size engine (.57 ringed - power 2.3 HP) developed by Novarossi made in joint venture with ElyQ and in exclusivity for us.
Top pilot Marcus Kim is actually in Italy to check its performances.
We will publish his opinion once he completes his test.

I see in a photo that you have also a Picco engine. Picco was a great engine for aeroplane. Does it produce also heli engine?

Please post some photo and video of the test. I know that Markus is testing it hard

Oh yes, the update is that Ely-Q company merge with Avant Co. I guess if Aurota takes two long years to release the production heli in very low quantities we can expect a SOON or VERY SOON release of any Vision50 anytime between today and two or maybe three years to come.

If you ask me.....,

I think that the cooperation between "ElyQ" & "AVANT RC" Is a brilliant idea. I have no doubt that ElyQ have the ability to produce the qualitative helis and accessorys (in time!!!) and I know that Augusto is the best engineer in this area.
Despite my affection to Mr Arevalo I agree that it was to hard to work with him.
So far ElyQ provide me good support and they keep their schedule like a "Swiss watch".

When I first saw the Ely-Q Vision50 I think immediatly “this is the heli I was expecting for“, after the notice about the fusion between companies I'm not sure if the heli going to be for sale in the near future.

I hope the Vision50 doesn't follow the steps from his big cousin, the Aurora, delayed about two years to release and released in short numbers, I'm not into the boutique side of the hobby, I only want a well designed, perfectly produced, massive delivered heli with nice support and parts availability. I'd love my Raptors and like the idea of being redesigned in part upgraded on others, anyway, if Vision aren't out by this X'stmas I put an eye on a 600N.

Everybody knows that Novarossi make powerfull engines for RC cars, airplanes, etc

But when it comes to helis they have done what they want whithout checking what really USA heli people want.

If you do a search here about Novarossi engines like the C50H2 they want to charge you a arm and a leg for that engine. The mounting holes are completely diferent and everybody needs to do mods to the engine mouting holes, Its hard to Tune, it only use expensive Novarossi tune pipes/mufflers. None support in USA. It only want to run OK only with Italian Glow fuel, Carburatore imposible to adjust.........And the list can go and go and go...........

So you can come here and tell us this new engine is a killer one but I am pretty sure it will still have the same problems before.

Better do a Joint venture with OS or YS if you want to sell ElyQ engines in USA.

UPDATE - ElyQ / Novarossi new engine

ElyQ and Novarossi WORLD Srl has jointly decided to develop the new engine model to be used within the framework of the RC helicopters world.
So, on one side Novarossi closed for summer holidays last August.
On the other side ElyQ has sospended the experimentation because busy both on 3DMasters and IRCHA.
The new engine is very powerfull (.57) and the biggest news is that it will be a ringed version, so completely different to those models introduced up to now.
Moreover its compatibility is full related to the accessories world for RC helicopters.
