I understand that JB is now a MultiGov dealer.
Having several units that fly awsome, I want more.
John told me that a new version was on the bench and supplies of the old units are out of stock. Not his doing folks, lets make that clear.
I want more!!!
John. Any news? Will the new module talk to the Old LCD?
When are you getting them.
Folks, This this is so easy to program and fly. Better then the GV-1.
Hit the switch and the Pantera pulls off her dress and makes you wet your panties!

I have the new version of the MultiGovs in stock now. Pretty decent. Sorry, I forgot to inquire whether the LCDs interchange. Let me ask now and get back to you.

Yes, the original LCD will work with the MultiGov Pro.

From what I have seen, the new ones also have auto mix control now.

Right, it's so you can control the mixture of the engine by adding a needle valve servo, which is quite easy with a Pantera of course since we created a place for mounting the servo itself.

Are they still going to run about $80 without the LCD?

No, he raised the price a little. However, considering he added a feature, "automatic mixture control", which in effect makes the Carb Smart device redundant if you should chose to use such a thing, I think it's a more than fair trade off vs. the modest price increase.

We have both the MultiGov Pro (w/LCD) and the temp sensors in stock.

Wow!
Need to know more about this.
I have several old units and would like a few more so here goes the ??
Sounds like the original LCD will work with the new one. Will I need a firmware upgrade for the LCD to use the mixture control?
JB noted a temp probe. Is this for the carbsmart?
Can I program the operating temp of the engine?
I am assuming that the new unit will do all the razu things the original unit will do.
If so.
JB. PM me on pricing without the LCD as I can not find anything on your website.

Pretty simple actually: For the existing website it's as follows:

On the left hand column, scroll down until you see "Electronics" and click on it. Next, select from the row of tabs along the top. You want the one that says "Aerospire" - click on it.

This brings you to the page with their products on it. I know there aren't any pictures, but it's for the same reason we're missing lots of pictures, which you all know (I'm working on a new website to release soon I hope). The new site is closer to release (some of you have seen it already), which will have pictures and better descriptions.

Anyway, you can select the MultiGov Pro, as well as the temperature sensor itself. I have both in stock. By the way, with respect to the non-LCD MultiGov Pro, I just don't have them in stock so don't bother selecting it regardless of whether you can, or what the website says. Anyway, here's a direct link to Aerospire on our website.

Multigov pro Blurb

Just a side note, they have a small blurb on the pro this month in RC Heli magazine, pg 14.

I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was going to blame you!

Do you have any of the new version mutli-gov docs that you could post some place. I would love to see the mix options. I checked Multi-Gov's site but they do not have them up yet.

BTW They do not have you listed as a dealer yet.

The temp mix option allows you to have different temp settings in each of the 3 flight modes. You can also have the temp control "off" in any of the flight modes.

No idea pal, sorry. And I may not have the happy meal much longer as I am running low on stock and it's uncertain when they'll be back in stock.

After action report:

I just got back from the field after installing my new Multigov Pro:

Short version; The best piece of gear I've ever bought for my heli.

Long version; I had both GV-1 and CarbSmart in my model previously. The GV-1 for over a year and the CarbSmart for abut six months now. Fiddle, fiddle, tweek and curse, another gallon of fuel wasted on test flights with sub-optimal performance. It took quite a while before I acheived decent flight power and a consistant head speed without worrying about being too lean. Finally I gave up and sold both.

I bought the Pro and spent one (1) hour installing it. Even an illiterit SOB like me can figure this thing out. The directions were easy to follow and after finishing the programming (5 minutes) I took it out for a test flight. Locked and solid with gobs of power, no overspeeding and I acutally got nearly a whole extra minute of flight time. The mixture control was far more consistant than the Carbsmart.

I use a DX-7 & AR7000 with AUX-2 set to F. mode, that way I have three set speeds; normal(1800) for spool up, Idle 1(1950) and Idle 2(2000) swinging 620's. I used the CSM carbsmart sensor and Hitec HS81 servo that was already installed so mixture control was easy. Mid point on the needle is at a smidge over 1&1/2 turns out on an OS50, Lean is 1&1/4 and rich is a bit over 2 turns open. My initial set temp is 115C. I have a long servo arm that is visable so I can spot the needle position as it flys by; for figure eights and general flying around it's semi-lean and after a minute of heavy maneuvers it's slightly rich(from the middle reference position).

My only regret is not buying this unit sooner.

I've been selling them briskly to people who don't own our Panteras. Not sure how they found out we have them. I have more on order but there are delays. Presently, I am nearly out of stock.

John,
Good news on your sales. NOW GET SOME MORE IN STOCK!
Bitch and carry on. Throw some of your wet carpet at them! You should have a few yards left over from the episode last week.
The only thing better then the MultiGov is a Pantera with a MultiGov.
What the hell...I should just go down the street an buy some crack and the next day have the dealer say I'm out.
Grins.
