Century Hawk - Falcon - Raven - Predator > Hawk IV Bellcrank Questions??

1. The elevator arm comes pre pinned. The movement is rather tight on the pin. Should I try and loosen this up or leave it alone?

2. There is also a bind when I tighten the bellcrank assembly together using the washers as listed in the book between the bearing and the short spacer on each side of the bell crank. It's also a bugger to put together with these washers. When I remove these washers and tighten, everything is free moving. My question is can I leave them out??

Thanks,
This is my first.

Bellcranks

The elevator bellcrank will loosen within a few flights - leave it as is.

Remove the spacers, they are leftovers from the Hawk III which had shorter spacers.

Thanks,
I had a suspicion that the parts were up to date in the kit but the documentation still had some old areas in it. That also explains why I was missing those washers to begin with.
