Great news. No mention of the battery tray though. I thought it was going to be a package.

Thanks for the tip, stocky. Just ordered one from helidirect.

I broke my motor mount last week, I was dreading
moving all the servos, ..etc to my spare frame. Now
I think I'll keep using the cracked frame and count on
the stiffener to keep the motor in place.

Good timing. Other day I was flying and everything stopped and my heli fell on the roof. I had loose screw problem so I loctite the screws this time. Screw didn't fell off this time, the screw went thought the slots!!

I got other frames but not having time to transfer everthing this would be perfect! I'll order it along with new set of servo's.

got my frame stiffener from helidirect almost a week ago, but unfortunately I haven't gone flying so I can't report how it works or
how well it crashes. I've only done half a dozen or so of hovers
in my backyard and there is no issue to report. It is light enough
to not affect the flight characteristics (hovering anyways), nor the
cg of the heli.

The stiffener fits the stock plastic frame really well, but you'll need
to cut off part of the motor mount as per instruction. The
machining is first class, but there is very little metal for
the screws to bite into, so I'm a little concerned about it
crashability. It does stiffen the frame considerably.

The only real problem is that you'll need much longer screws
to mount your motor because of the added thickness to the motor
mount. Extreme provides two long screws, but they are too
skinny to fit an esky motor. I ended up using the screws from
a trex metal blade grip to mount the motor, but they were a bit
too long and required some cutting.

Next week I hope to do some real flying, and typically means I'll know how well it holds up in crashes.

I got mine last week and done some flying with it.

My stock frame motor mount area is useless so I just hack sawed out and replaced it with the stiffener. Its a very well made piece.

I just wish that they use better stainless screws, ones that came with are pretty soft.
