| You don't mention what type of battery you have, but assuming you are not referring to LiPo you should be able to solder the tab if you have a high wattage iron. Don't know of any other way to do it but to weld the tab back on. If you decide you want to build your own packs from scratch you might try this link, http://diy-battery-tab-welder.net/, or do a search on the web for DIY battery tab welder.
