I don't think it is going to trash anything. I see people run it all the time. The bottom line is the engine was designed to run on regular gas and that is how the Manufacturer (Zenoah) bases it's warranty on. Hansen has to set a baseline somewhere on alternative fuels and follows Zenoah's guidelines.
One mile of road will take you one mile. One mile of runway will take you anywhere in the world.

The Zenoah warranty is like most hobby related warranties. They promise to ship you something that works and stays together for a short period of time. They have no way of knowing if you ran that engine on gas or camper fuel. However they will definately know if you have your tuning wrong.
