As some of you know, I'm in the process of building a Super FP heli with full-separates. I understand the process of soldering both positve and both negative wire leads of the ESCs together at the battery connector.

My question is regarding the three-wire plug on the tail motor ESC. I understand that this three-wire plug, which would normally go connected to the receiver's throttle channel, goes connected to the gyro. Am I correct in saying that I must first remove both the positive and negative wires from the three-wire plug to disable the tail motor ESC's BEC leaving only the signal wire connected to the plug? Then, am I correct in saying that I connect the plug to the male three-pin connector on the Telebee gyro insuring that the signal wire is connected to the signal pin on the Telebee? Thanks.

racin, the ESC plugs into the gyro with the red wire disconnected, then the gyro out wire goes into the receiver with all three wires connected.

Thanks for the information, Doug. I almost have the heli completed. I have to tweak the CG a little. Hopefully, I'll have the heli in the air in the near future.
