| I was streeghtlight flying the TRIX a few nights ago and wandered into a dark area. Lost orientation, and down it went. Fortunately, I had been practicing low autos, so I found the TH in time. Not in time to save the head, though. The washout and hub were the only head parts left undamaged. Also broke the skid struts, blades, A/R bracket, and main gear.
I was about to order the full Phantom plastic head, but on a whim I called RC-TEK to see how much the metal underslung version would be. Spoke to Scott, and he hooked me up with this:

and a metal A/R bracket. The head came just like that - fully assembled - shaft, links, and all - for $55. The A/R bracket was $10. Helluva deal.

With new bump-resistant LG and HS81 tail servo (much better than the JRS185):
