just got back from the field(about 20 min ago) and was planning to do a vid of some flips and inverted hovering...flew a pack to get warmed up,when I went to swap batts the neg wire from the esc(male)broke right off.I hardly touched it,it snapped right off,it felt as if only 2 or 3 strands were attached,MAN AM I LUCKY,it could have come off in flight in the middle of a flip or inverted it doesn't look burnt or damaged,I think it just got weak from use.I am so happy I found it then.This may also explain some heat issues and weirdnes I've been having I'll report tomorrow after I re-solder the connection,oh yeah its a deans ultra

had the same problem with align connector it was the wire that broke not the connector. The battery and ESC wires seem a little cheap definitely not good copper wire more like a tin/aluminum composite.

thats what broke on mine the WIRE right where it solders to the tab on the deans,broke clean off.....scary

Funny you say that cause i checked mine and ive got one that wiggles a little.

Maby a inch more shrink rap would help make a strain releif. Any time we bend the sodder'ed joint 6-9 times it cracks and breaks. Scoring tin, and bending it back an forth 5 times and we get 2 pieces, but it works too when we would like it not too. TJ, thats a nother tip in yr up and comming "Pre Flight Check List" Maby evan a 2nd shrink rap slid over the first and heat'ed, would stiffen it better. Just a thought !
