Radio - Servo - Gyro - Gov - Batt > JR770\8900G Set Up

Could use some help with the set up with this combo on a Spektrum DX7 and 600N.

I burned 2 tanks of fuel hovering and tweaking settings yesterday with the end result being frustrated and having a rudder that goes from solid to wagging.

I believe I have all the basics covered..mechanically 90 and lined up, radio settings as per gyro manual, high rate set on the gyro, the rudder servo & gyro both work in the correct directions etc.

What am I over looking? Hoping someone out there has this combo on a 600N using a DX7 and is willing to share radio settings and set up info.

Thanks!

Jim

What's you gain set at, and are you using the gyro menu? And how far out is the ball on the servo horn?

The older I get, the shorter my attention....... Oh look. A shiny penny..

gain is at 62....ball is at 11 mm from center on servo...yes, using the gyro menu. would tinkering with GEAR in the travel adjustments help?

I had better results from the 7703D by turning off the gyro menu, and using the ATVs.

Also, you might try changing the foam....

i just wanna make sure i understand(not that good with tx set-up) instead of using the gyro sense screen to set your gain you're using the gear channel? what did your gain end up being set at?

Verify that the Gyro is set for a high speed servo. Mine came shipped set for a standard servo.
