I have a T9CHP TX that I am using with two 1024 PCM RXs (one is a 9ch R149DP, the second is a FP-R138DP). Last weekend I was flying my helicopters and they just started kicking around like I was trying 3D and then slamed into the ground. I was thinking at first it was radio interference but it happened again this weekend with one of my birds. It does not happen at start up its around 2 minutes in the flight every time, close at a hover or in flight. When I was rebuilding my second bird today and started checking the servos my throttle servo just started going full open to full closed with out moving the sticks.
Is there any way I can check TX or RX to see if it is one of them? Until the first event I have never had a problem one with any of my equipment.

Need more info....

Do you have your fail safe set? I set mine to idle the throttle and hold everything else.

Because you stated it happened to both your models I would suggest having you TX looked at. Unlikely to be interference if your TX has the failsafes setup as I indicated above.

You may have a set of bad receivers. I had the same issue sometime ago on 2 machines, after many many crashes (one after the other) someone suggested that I send the receivers in for a check-up. I sent them in and it turns out that both were bad. They were fixed and I never had that issue again.

If you're seeing the SAME failure (i.e. same channel giving you trouble) on two different receivers on two different models, you need to consider a bad TX. My first suspect would be the pot and/or its associated wiring on that channel.

You're doing the right thing by sending them in for service.

What does it cost for servicing on some thing like that. I never had any kind of trouble at all from that TX. How often should servicing be done on the TX's and RX's
