alright here we go

back in 1998 me and my buddy took a road trip with our harleys(I had a 77 ironhead sportster)to the 98th anniversary celebtation at the HARLEY factory in milwaukie wis.We had a great time,one whole week of fun,rode in a parade with Peter Fonda and Jay Leno,met all kinds of people had a blast...bla bla bla,On the way home(bikes were trailered)we got pulled over in OHIO for going 72 in a 65 zone....I was ALLEGEDLY repeat ALLEGEDLY found to be in possession of a small ammount of a certain leafy green vegtable matter sometimes used in native american indian ceremonies....the ammount alleged was less than 1/8 of one ounce.So I was arrested and taken to county jail somewhere in Buttf@!k Ohio. My buddy came home and had bail money($800+) and enough money for a ticket home wired to me and I PROMPTLY left the state of Ohio NEVER to return again

Fast forward to 2008,there is a new national driver registry in effect where all states are now communicating about outstanding debt/tickets/charges,so if you live in Pa and owe for a ticket in Alaska you cannont get your Pa drivers liscense re-newed until all outstanding issues are taken care of....Ohio promptly added my name to the registry so Pa will not re-new my liscence till the outstanding charges are taken care of

Ohio's answer is for me to come back there, turn myself in,go before a judge and square this away,I think there may be some type of statute of limitations on this,

my response is tell me how much money you want for this to go away,and i'll send it,...they(ohio)dont want to hear about that

so I have to get a lawyer to look into laws and such to see if this can be cleared up from here,as I'm running out of time to re-new my drivers liscense...either way..this is going to cost a few thousand bucks to clear up,so the heli fund is on hold till I find out how much $$$ I need to settle this

yeah,hopefully this is resolved quickly and easily

my plans are still for a MTSE, a cellpro10s and a few more batts,and maybe a nightflying set up,but It just maybe a little later in the summer than I had hoped

I had actually forgotten about that whole "incident" until I went to re-new my DL...then I got a quick painful reminder

apparently ohio LIKES to lock people up for really minor stuff,because if I remember correctly the guy I was in the holding cell with was there for driving without a liscense,here in Pa you get a ticket and they send you on your way,but in OH its a CRIMINAL offense

Good luck Fender. Good move getting a lawyer up front. Expensive in the short term, cheaper in the long term.

So I've been pricing out the Outrage kit and since I would use virtually nothing from what I already have, the total for the whole ball of wax ranges from $1250 to $1500. About the only thing I won't have to buy is an RX and a pitch gauge.

Both prices include a Cellpro 10s, adapters 3 packs and a power supply.

First off, Aregano, is good with more than Pizza, and LaZsanya......! It has Missanel popersous, and can calm the nearves. I always told the band & crew, dont give em anything to pull ya over ! Guilty thAre, BUT, EVERYone is doing that on the hiway. But not everyone has two Harleys behind........! All it is, is "Illeagel-Wiskie", and it's better than Wiskie, cuz you get to keep yr "Fackulties" under the influnince.Here in the Ozarks, if ya give em yr stash, they normaly let ya off. Be a COP, in Green County, if ya want "Free Contraban" They love Squezzing Ya by the Balls........! They know they got-ya. We have a guy at out marina that dose ONLY that kind of cases, but he wants a part of yr stuff............! Rodger, and he is busy "Full Time". ( AND, He neaver needs to buy the stuff ! Majin-That )It's part of the price. Fender, if the Pure Country Band, was still on the road, we would do 2 shows for ya, and yr cost would be $60.00 in Deisel, each time. I know I cant anymore, but at least you know I would of for ya. JUST, Keep us posted, Please ! & Good Luck !

I hope you get it straightened out fender but I would try to get something to drive on temporarily we can drive on a ticket or court summons. The courts lost their right to speedy trial, 10 years back it took me 3 months to BUY my drivers license back from the state. Working night shift means you have to drink and drive all day.

I saw this also, but the lawyer seems to think we can do an end around,there is no statute for the NDR,... BUT, there ARE statutes in OH, so if I can get the charges removed on a limitations defense in OH.they will have to clear it from the record.I have to wait to see if its an open case or if they convicted me in absentia,thats going to be big difference in how its handled.Many many people dont even know about this NDR stuff yet and its going to bite THOUSANDS of people in the A$$.I'm not going to turn this into a political thing but aren't people getting squeezed enough right now with out going for 10 year old minor cases and traffic tickets??the gov needs to worry about the economy and gas/food prices not this crap
