You need a photo editor to crop the image and resize it to the size specified in the manual. After that it is just a matter of copying the newly sized image into the correct folder on the CF card. It's a drop and drag operation.
The top image is a photo that will work on the 14MZ. The lower image is the raw photo. If you double click on these images you will see that they are very much different in size. Since the TX wants relatively long skinny pictures, obviously long skinny pictures work better. Notice how the top image was cropped (grass removed from above and below the wing tips).
