Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow. We had 10 people show up on Friday. Perfect flying weather: Light breeze, blue skies and not too hot.

See y'all there...

A nice event.

This event was smaller then it had been but it was definitely was a nice event, so far all the people that missed it, you missed a good event. I almost decided not to go but I was glad I did. Thanks to Chris and all the people that helped with this event.

AJ thanks again for the gift.

By the way, Dylan what were you thinking? There is no way you could have made it under that iron rail. Now the tent maybe, I could see you possibly making it under that, but you didn't make it under the tent either and there is no way you could have done an auto and been able to slid under that rail. I am not even sure Curtis could have done that.

However, wow have you gotten better and better in your flying. You definitely are the real deal now. Look foward to seeing you fly at the SRC!

Heat Wave

Terry said it best, good friends, food, and fun was had by all.
I was glad to see the ones that did make it and talk to some old friends and make some new ones.

Burgers were right on and hit the spot, thanks Justin for stuffing me.

Dylan, If Terry rags on you to hard, just perfect it and do your demo with the easy up in Mt. Pleasant.

I have several big birds to attend starting next weekend and later this month and the first part of Auguest so I'll see you all in Mt.Pleasant real soon.

Wow!!!!

While it was a small funfly, Dylan and I had an absolute wonderful time! We got to see our friends we've made through the hobby, spend the day with them flying and just haveing a great time.

We made a few new friends and that is what our travels to all of the different funflys is really all about.

I really hope somebody took the EZ Up and can make some use for it. I know it certainly didnt look like it would fold up any more. but it served a fun purpose yesterday! Ya had to be there!

It was great to see everybody! If I could change one thing about this funfly, I would have made it where I could've been there Friday also! Oh and Dylan would've pulled off the inverted auto through the tent! Of course had he made it, That dang pipe would've been next and that could've spelled real disaster.

Heat Wave and Align 500

Well the damaged EZ up shade, than Dylan flew his heli through, Mike Prewitt was able to package up and take back home. It sort of crowded the truck a little, due to the fact I had to carry the new Heli kit ( T-Rex 500) home with us too.

Thanks to everyone at the HHW.

Hi everyone.
Thanks indeed for coming to everyone.
For some reason, the heat got to everyone, myself included. It was all I could do to clean up the field before going home. All of us were completely exhausted. Next year we'll make changes for when everyone eats (the pilot's meal will be at lunch rather than the evening, and the evening meal will start earlier).

A huge thanks to Will, Bryce, Justin, Lori for sticking it out. Thanks to Ron Lund (Heliproz South), Bobby Sellers (BobbyJacks), and Dan Goldstein (MRC) for the gift certificates, donations and great prices for our gifts to the pilots.

I'm pretty sure that next year Dylan will make it through the tent unharmed! But, to make it fair to him, we should sweeten the pot so that if he doesn't make it, he gets something for having the balls to try it..

Thanks to the local flyers for coming and showing their stuff: Rowdy, Anthony, Chris, Robert. And some not so local: Scott Glasgow.

Weldon won the raffle - have fun with it, we expect to see it during the year at the field in flying form.

If I can do anything to change the calendar for next year, I will - but it is really tough as there are so many other events when the weather is less extreme. Also, I plan on having the event setup and dates posted well in advance so that you all have a better opportunity to block it out on the calendars.

There is also a chance that next year we'll host a full fledged 3D contest with posted competition rules - trained judges, and prizes fit for this level of contest.

See you at IRCHA and Mount Pleasant.

Chris.

So are a lot of people

Sadly a lot of people are looking for James Brown. Though he has had good feedback and all he seems to have run into hard times. He has made some very bad decisions and continues to do so. Now he has stooped to downright theft. A lot of people find it hard to believe. I have worked on a lot of his stuff in the past. Does not seem to matter to him now. This is pure theft and nothing else. This is also not the first instance as locally he has written bad checks to people including one hobby shop and neve made good on it. What makes this real bad is if you remember Leroy Klemp, the guy that bought the machine from James is a friend of Leroy's. Sadly James appears to have no excuse but being a s***bag thief. He needs to solve his issue with this guy and then go and straighten out his life whatever it takes. More bad choices will not equal a good result. At this rate jail will be his home. Needless to say his name is mud in the heli community.

I have been hearing these reports and don't like to believe this kind of stuff until I give the person the benefit of the doubt, however, if this is indeed true, then it is not good
