| I do recommend a 50 over the 30. I was just saying that if the 30 size is a good deal and you are tight on money, then get that and upgrade later when you can afford it. If you can afford the 50 size, get that. As for getting parts to convert to a 50, the engine and muffler will be the most expensive items. Engine mounts on runryder for an evo 50 are fairly cheap. I have two sitting beside me right now that I haven't been able to sell for several months now. The black plastic main gear and secondary gears are fairly cheap, but if you are converting, I would just upgrade to the delrin gear set. The clutch bell isn't cheap, but if you do get a 30 and decide to upgrade, contact me about a clutch bell. 600mm blades are around 80 new and you can find them here for less used. Yes, its cheaper to just start from a 50 than it is to convert from a 30.
Man, I miss the eighties. |
