I needed a break from clutch runout.

My OS70 showed up today so out comes the TT70. Anyways I wanted to post some notes on the size differances.

From the botom of the mount lugs to the top of the head (no glow plug)

OS70 3.010"
TT70 3.220"

Head size

OS70 1.985" X 2.250"
TT70 2.210" X 2.550"

The shafts are the same lenghth.

I had to file down the head of the TT70 down so it would fit inside the Pantera. I took a little over 0.1" off the top fins. Then it just fits but rubs on the shroud. The rest of the head is fine.

Just info to let anyone know that is putting a TT70 into a Pantera you will need to grind on the head some to get it to fit.

I know John said there is someone who ordered the BBC and is planing on putting in a TT70. Who ever you are send me a PM. I have a Head, Carb, Crank, and Back Plate for you. I do not have any use for them. This motor is going back into a EK4 and it does not use these parts.
