| Howdy all.
I just picked up a shiny new 12FGH and 5 R608FS 2.4 receivers for my Raptor fleet. At the same time I grabbed a TM-8 module to fit my existing 9Z to use as a backup. While I was reading the 12FG manual on my flight home today, I realized that the default 12FG channel grouping for a standard SW1 mechanical mixed bird like the R50/R90 is aileron/elevator/pitch on channel 1,2,3. I can see a major value to doing this on a CCPM bird like a TREX or similar, but I do not think I will see any difference on the Raptor? I ask because if I want to run the 9Z while I transition the new models into the 12FG, and keep the 9Z as a backup, I need to reassign the channels to match traditional Futaba PPM/PCM layout. (Aileron, Elevator, throttle, rudder, gyro, collective)
