Is this the same kind of material that is used for protecting paint on the front of cars and headlights?

Anyone want a pet rabbit?.............I found him on the road dead and I'm tired of hugging him

Hello and thanks for asking...

No. If I have the right material in mind, the material you are thinking of is much thicker, rubberier and not nearly as clear. I've heard it called "helicopter tape" before. Our film is much thinner and designed from the start for use on LCD screens.

The headlight/car paint stuff is actually super clear, it has to be for the color of the car to come through, they call it 'invisable protection' but it is also very adhesive, so once installed, I doubt it would come off very easy!
