started on the Ball better known as the mast mounted sight. construction paper is used to give the face its contours. the ball started off as a foam ball from walmart. (dont ask me what they are used for but they were perfect for my mms) the ball was brushed with two coats of Z-poxy finishing resin. the lens face was cut from a thin sheet of birtch-ply. then it was mounted using an old flybar weight from one of my many hawk sports to a piece of music/piano wire(never remember which is which) which slides down the hollow mast. i have built an aparatus that will move the ball left and right during flight and does this on its own. i willbe too busy flying the machine to be playing with that ball. sorry

yeah Larry, that was done the first time i flew the heli with that ball in place. the ball was just plain and i needed to make sure my locking mechanism worked while in flight so i drew the face to see easier if it was spinning. worked great
