Hi. I sent a e-mail to cyberheli.com I usally buy most of my stuff there, and they told me that 12z was discontinued can some one please confirm this because i really want one

They offered me to buy a 12fgh or 14mz

Hi there.
A while ago there was a similar issue when Futaba changed the part-number for the 12Z when they changed to the 6014 receiver. The old part-number was discontinued, and a new one came for the unit that came along with the new RX.
Probably the same now.

The 12Z is a fantastic radio, as it shares most of the functions with the larger 14MZ. (it is a 14ch radio and it is a dream to program)
You will not regret buying one!

Thanks! this was the fasst version with the 6014 receiver included.They really ment no more shipment from futaba of 12z fasst radio set.
I have asked here in Norway too and they claims the same

they changed the part number of the bls251 not long ago aswell and scared afew people

Hmm, quite strange that Futaba USA posts it as "New" on their webpages......If they now are to discontinue it. I think also there was a post on RCU about this, and the US Importer stated that they had no info about it being discontinued.
Perhaps they will sell it only as a TX with FASST module, no receiver?

Anyway, they released an update for it a few days ago so it'll be in the system for quite a while whatever they decide to do.

Please note that the official importer here in Norway has not yet figured out what happend last year when they changed the part-number for the unit with the new receiver. So, since then they have claimed it was discontinued....

I recommend you go for the 14MZ if you do not want the 12Z.!

Hi. I have managed to find shops where the 12z are available, Futaba has too stop changing their partsnumbers.Sorry for this i just wanted to bring the news.
