In the manual it states that the synthesized module for the 9Z radios does not work with the 10C. That makes sense since it didnt work in thr 9C either. However, what about the TP-FSM designed for the 9C? It plugs right in and lights the RF output light. Actually, the Hitec Spectra module does too.

Did you do a test with a receiver? Before futaba came out with their synthesized module, I use the Hitec synthesized module on the 9c.

Yes and the Spectra works fine in the 9C and it works in the 10C but they are getting stronger in their verbage against using Hitec module in a Futaba transmitter. If the TP-FSM is approved for the 10C, I'll use it for 72Mhz. I have too much of an investment in FM and especially PCM receivers to just fire sale all of them and replace 'em with 2.4. I have already purchased 3 2.4 receivers so far.

The Futaba fixed-frequency and synthesized-frequency modules that fit into the 7U-series, 8U-series, and 9C-series transmitters fit properly into the 10C transmitter.

In North America, they are the TJ-27-FM, TJ-75-FM, TP-50-FM, TP-72-FM, and the TP-FSM modules. In other countries, they may have different part numbers, but if the module fits into a 7U-series, 8U-series, or 9C-series transmitter, it will work with the 10C transmitter.
