Is there any more news on the Fury gasser and its likely engine yet? Looking forward to the release of this one. I want to hopefully take the gasser and put the Tempest FAI head on it for competition work, provided of course that the engine is not bigger than 25cc.

I e-mailed Miniature about this about three weeks ago and their replay indicated about the end of the year, but they don't intend to call it a "Fury". It will have most of the Fury mechanics. They are NOT going to use the G26 because of vibration problems, they said. Probably will be the RC231. Hope this helps.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the comment, I've spoken to a local gasser pilot and he thinks that even lightened up the gasser won't be good enough for competition work as it will have more inertia so won't stop on a dime as needed. Looks like competition will stay glow then.
