I'm setting up a VBAR Logo6003D. I have everything setup equal between elevator and aileron. Why do I get more aileron than elevator cyclic throw?

Your question does not make sense. You say you set it up even, now you are asking why you have more of one then other... do you mean the values are the same? If so that means nothing. All I shoot for is around 8 degrees of cyclic min and then fly and adjust to feel, thats it, the numbers and % is irrelevant all you have to look for is no binding.

Its the elevator AOF causing it "visually/mechanically", However, it wont affect how it flies, adjust flip/roll-rate when flying.

Shawn, havent checked on my logo since I use Mikado head, but on my other machines 8 degree cyclic is too little, you might get a blowout on the cyclic, and I can tell you that one isnt fun at all.

On my MA machines target is 11-12 degrees, on the logo, max everthing and let the vstabi do its work.

What I mean is that the VBAR settings and radio settings are the same between the axis, but on the bench I get more physical movement in roll than pitch.

Thanks MrMel. How do you prevent driving the swash past it's limit? Just max out roll cyclic?

Use "Cylic gain" under swash menu, (little box center/lower) screen, that up/lower the max cyclic movement.

Cyclic blowout

I imagine "cyclic blowout" with cyclic would be something like settling with power with the collective. But, I've never heard the term before...so someone explain what happens with the heli during a "cyclic blowout".

Simply where if you dont have enough cyclic for the gyro to work with, same thing as a rudder blowout, you loose control.

John.

I noticed exactly the same thing setting mine up for the first time last night.

So it's the AOF eh?
