Jaime showed up last Sunday with this bad-a$$ motha. It had the fastest flip and roll rate that I have ever seen! The tic-tocs he did were incredibly quick and positive. I've seen Jaime fly this helicopter many times with a flybar. The improvement in cyclic speed and power was really amazing. I'll have to convert my Aurora to flybarless as soon as I have the cash.

I don't know much about the system. I think he got the head and short mainshaft from Carl Bonta. The flybarless system is from CSM with 720 gyros.

I wonder if the shorter mainshaft will allow boomstrike? I am sure it rolls nicely though with the disc closer to the fuse.

The ONLY thing stopping me is the head is $500 and the V-Bar is $600+. I can't swallow that hard or I'd have me one for my Synergy.

That has got to survive a crash better as well without a fly bar smashing everything to bits while tieing itself in a little knot.
The electronics will get cheaper, and with the fuel prices the extra effiency might even pay for itself (this angle might work with the misses) It doesnt cost money it saves money LOL
