I notice that it has a different and smaller seesaw and flybar cage from the Evo50. Is this a non Evo 50 head?

It is just the metal Hirobo upgrade. Whoever won the bid got a great buy for $400.

That looks like a hybrid SZ-4 Sceadu metal head. It does not appear to be the Evo head design.

Note the short flybar cage. Even the top-down shot shows the cage is too short to be the Evo design. Also, the head is configured for trailing-edge blade control. The Evo grips have the control rods toward the leading-edge of the blades.

Yes, I agree. This is a non Evo head. So, is this head better than the Evo one?

No. The standard Sceadu head flew OK, but had more tendency for out-of-track deviations (woofing). It also is not as adjustable as the Evo head.

Better is subjective. The original Sceadu head took a bit more diligence in setup and maintenance, or it could woof. Otherwise, it flew just fine. Also note that that is *not* a full metal head - the head block is still black plastic. The grips and washout have been upgraded, though, and maybe the swash . . .
