Just bought a TT53 Redline motor today and am trying to fit it into my R50 Titan. The engine mount is too narrow for the motor. The crankcase fouls and it would seem that the engine mounting holes are not spaced far enough apart they are 44mm on the engine and 42mm on the mount. Has anyone else found this, it seems stupid that TT would make an engine that doesn`t fit their own 50 sized machine, or am I being really dumb and missing something here ??????

I just installed a TT53 in my Titan last week and everything seemed to line up. I have flown it twice with the new engine so I think it is ok

is your engine mount slightly 'green' color? The original TT-50H was 1mm narrower than the OS-50 and has a different engine mount.

I found this out the hard way. My TT-50H powered R50 has the green PV0107TT motor mount which is different than the standard silver PV0107

Engine Mount

My engine mount does have a greenish tinge to it.It`s the nicely machined one, I seem to remember my other R50 engine mount having a dull cast appearance. I take it that is the mount I need ? Just tried my Hyper 50 in the mount and that doesn`t fit either. What a crock !!!

It's not really too bad, just need to get the right engine mount. You want the silver one. I'll bet you can find one in the classifieds.
