I just ordered the 10C and it's coming with the 6014 2048receiver. I dont need 14 channels for everything and want to buy some 7 or 8 channel FAAST receivers for helicopter use. What are the differences, besides the number of channels? There are two 7 channel receivers for example and I cant ID the differences. I expect there are some feature or resolution or speed differences?

Concerning the 7 channel receivers for Futaba the 607 was replaced by 617...you should get 617, they changed suppliers and channel response.

from what i have read the 7 channel isnt as "faast" as the 8 or 14 channel reciever. not 2048 res thus the premium $$$. my dumb thumbz wont notice the difference.

All run same 2.4 hopping stuff.
The 8 and 14 receivers are 2048 resolution and the 7 channel and below are 1024
