With all the big block conversions available for 50 size helis, this might work

there have been some conversions done with 60-90 size helis, but this motor is really suited for 50 size helis.

I don't have time to search it out right now, but the last this conversion was mentioned, I don't recall the owner having the best of luck with it.

What we need is a GROUND UP, TASK designed, lightweight, small gasoline two stroke in the tradition of the finest IMAC engines like the DA's. Everything else out there right now is just a modification, makeshift set up of engines whose ORIGINAL design intent was never to be in a helicopter. And please don't offer the Webra as an option. What a disaster that was....

I agree Ben, current Gasser technology does not interest me in the slightest, especially in a 3D Heli.

If they make a purpose built boxer (twin with opposing piston movement) engine to reduce the vibration and weigh similar to BME 110cc (3.8lb 11hp), I would be all over it. Mini BME engine of 30cc that weight 2lb with 3-4hp would be a killer as it would run 15min on 12oz of gas.

I fought with it all last year with not much luck.. DId you want to purchase mine for a reduced price? I tried putting it into a Raptor 60.. Just couldn't get it to all workout right.
I even have a tuned type pipe for it...

Go that way really fast.. If something gets in your way.. TURN

no luck?

I'm looking at the carb on it again and it looks like you need to run the prop collet to clear a fan...there goes the drop-in fit idea.

Ben, do you remember when people were putting glow g90s in 60s? There were a number of pilots using the supertigre carb on SFNs at that time, and some just used the whole motor

I would think you would be better-off with buying the new Webra 55 and running it on 10 or 15%..
