Now that I have my N9, and have it built, I've got a question: What are the common things that you need to watch on the N9?

I recall when I built the tail, I wondered why there's the tail slider lock ring, instead of having the thing threaded and use a ring nut. Since I've not really used lock rings in the past, I have no idea if I need to watch the part, etc.

And I'm sure there are other things I should watch out for as well...

watch your underpants cause you might ****e yourselve the first time you take her up. Freaking bad to the bone! I check my star washer before every flight and after every flight. never had an issue so far.

I machine a small groove on the slider bushing.I have to pretty much destroy the lock ring to get it off.
Next,I'll drill out the pitch plate a hair so the pin will slide nice,Hypersize the links, add Hypergrips and she's a'rockin'

Duly noted. I guess I'll have to fly au naturale, and have a hose ready.

LOL Bart B, I just happened to rebuild the tail slider assembly this weekend and had it fresh in my memory.

I'd keep an eye on your seesaw bolts, make sure that they stay tight. I've had mine back out before
