That crack looks nasty. I definitely would not fly with those blades on a heli. The blades are much cheaper to replace than having to repair the heli & replace the blades at the same time.

No, I haven't crashed it.
Maybe the blades were too lose in the grips, I do remember spooling up a bit quicker than normal. I certainly wont be flying until I replace them.

i had something like that happen, it turned out to be an engine mounting bolt that flew out and smacked the blades.

Just one possibility. Do you fold your blades back and keep them in that foam holder thingy clipped to the tail boom? The ding on the edge suggests so and the stress back through the bolt has levered the edge of the blade root producing the shown crack.
