Ok pilots.
I had a bug up my you know what to pull the clutch bell today in Pantera III
I just wanted to inspect things after todays flight. My Multi gov program is very agressive and just wanted to check things out.
I thought. "oh, just undo a few bolts (10 of them) and part the main frames. Pull the bearings out and the clutch bell will follow."
After dorking around and yanking and pulling. My engineering brain clicked.
HEY! if you drop the motor (only four screws) The clutch bell will clear all the other stuff. Granted you need to part the frame to get the bearings out. I just needed to inspect the bell the bearings could of stayed put and you don't need to part the frames.
DA! Clutch lining is good and the bearings are good to go.
So much for a quick inspection.
Hope you have a laugh from my silly brain fart.

Nah, nobody laughing . . . more like commiserating in sympathy because we've all pulled bone head stunts ourselves.
