e-Minicopter Joker > Mini-Joker Stretching

I was thinking of buying a stretched mini-joker (almost mainly because I want to run 15S/2P A123 packs. What is needed to stretch a heli? Is it jsut extending the tailboom and belt to fit the larger main rotor blades?

Also, Joker-USA told me there are no CF tailbooms for the mini-joker...but I can see it in their Price List and they seem to never respond to my second e-mails to them, ever. I'm also a bit confused about their price list since the item name can be really vague and sometimes don't even tell you what heli they are for (mainly tailbooms and pinions for me), but Joker-USA never responded to this question either. Neither has mini-copter Canada, unfortunately. Does anybody have the dimensions for the battery tray on the mini-joker? Really...just questions that I never got answers to from Joker-USA or Minicopter Canada.

I have been told the CF boom for the Joker2 is no longer available - (it may be still listed).

As for part numbers etc. I have found the easiest thing to do is download the manuals for reference that way you will see what part numbers are for what heli.

http://www.joker-usa.com/downloads.htm

As for the specifics on dimensions etc.. Sorry I don't have a mini Joker. Do a search though most of what you ask has been covered already. Also PM members Rerazor and Dreslism who I think has done stretched miniJ's.

Oh! Hah! I must have missed the list of pinions in the manual every single time I've gone through it! The main reason I want to go with a Mini-joker over a Joker 2 is I very much prefer the design of the tail assembly and rotor head (the blade grip arms specifically) are put together over how it is done on the Joker.

They said the CF tailbooms were not available anymore? Do you know why that is? Quality control issues? I've been reading around and it seems that a lot of people are saying most CF tailbooms aren't made properly so they end up being worse than aluminum tailbooms rather than stronger and lighter.

I don't know why the CF booms are not available anymore. It was what I was told when I tried to order one directly from Minicopter.

Gerd told me the booms were inconsistent. I think in diameter size.

Forget about Minicopter-Canada. Trust me. I'm 2 hours away from them and it takes forever to get anything. Even to package a shipment and drop it off to the Post Office is a difficult task. Gerd really has to do something about it.
